Khalisah Stevens is the Chief Operating Officer at The Surpluss, a certified B-Corp deep-tech company creating the digital infrastructure for secondary materials management to advance resource security and sovereignty. As a strategic project lead and one of the organisation’s key commercial drivers, she oversees major initiatives and spearheads The Surpluss’ business operations in Malaysia.Khalisah brings extensive experience from Dubai’s tech startup ecosystem, including roles at Namshi.com, Seera Group, and the Dubai Economy and Tourism digital teams. She has a strong track record supporting government clients in sustainable tourism, notably managing sustainability assessments for major Destination Management Organisations across Europe and Asia. She has also delivered a TEDx talk on aligning destinations with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and is skilled in project management, sustainability standards, and stakeholder engagement.She holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the American University of Sharjah and a Master’s in Sustainable Tourism and Natural Resource Management from EAE Business School.
